I use iBooks to sync a whole bunch of reading material and documents between my iOS devices and Mac. For some strange reason, the iBooks on my Mac was not showing any of my stuff that was shown on my iOS devices and anything I added in iBooks on my Mac was not shown on my iOS devices. The solution, in my case, was simple… on my Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud then click on Options button next to iCloud Drive and check the iBooks app which allows iBooks to store data and documents in my iCloud Drive!

This particular solution doesn’t make any sense, but it works! While playing the podcast, on the upper part of the iTunes window, there is a “shuffle” button - enable it by clicking on it, and your podcast will not autoplay the next when the episode is finished....
