Check yourself constantly. It’s easy to slip into the mental trappings of comfort. When things seem okay, that is when something comes up. An issue that needs to be resolved, a change in a scenario that might impose a change of habits. Something. Staying sharp and having a plan to get back on a beneficial path is critical. Always question if what you are doing now is what you really should be doing. Keep logs, keep a journal, check your health regularly – hold yourself accountable because there is nobody who will do it better than you.
