Yogurt & Cereals, Perfect Snack Combination!

Cereals is not a common breakfast for our family, it is eaten most likely for snacking. From time to time the kids would want to have cereals and milk for breakfast, that’s very rare though. How is it that we don’t fancy such breakfast? It’s not like that we don’t like it, instead we prefer a hot meal with rice/bread/potatoes, paired with some protein and a cup of hot cocoa for the kids and coffee/tea for us folks. If you happened to see my previous post then you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

Ingredients: Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt, Cinnamon, Wheat Bran Cereals, Cinnamon Chex & Nesquick Chocolate Syrup

Though it’s not preferred to eat cereals for breaking our fast, it is enjoyed sometimes for light snacking within the day. Not all the time it’s just paired with milk, sometimes it’s eaten plain or used to decorate a plain yogurt snack making it more fun to eat with different textures and flavors. My kids call it a special treat because it looks a lot more special than a small bowl of cereals. Indulging them with sweets sometimes isn’t bad as long as it’s done in moderation.
