How to Make Snowball Mic Work With Quicktime

Have you ever gotten that warning that QuickTime wasn’t authorized to use your Snowball Mic? Or something to that extent? This happened several times, attempting to record my screen while capturing my voice using the snowball mic. The solution for me was to go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Microphone and make sure the box next to QuickTime Player is checked.
