Add GIFs easily in your email on Apple Mail

In a previous post, I described several ways to attach GIFs in Apple Mail and focused on a specific method to add GIFs which gave playback. It was not an intuitive solution but it did the job. I also mentioned that there used to be an easy way to do this with an extension provided by Mailbutler but was sad when they discontinued it after an update to their software.

BUT, they are back! Now I can easily add GIFs again from GIPHY’s libraries right in Apple Mail using Mailbutler’s new GIPHY extension and I’m loving it! I’m hoping that this extension survives the many updates to come from both Apple and Mailbutler. Follow the process outlined at https://support.mailbutler.io/knowledge-base/giphy-extension-apple-mail/ and you’ll be well on your way to attach animated GIFs in your message, without leaving your inbox!
