Magnify the world with BLIPS

by | Jul 3, 2019 | Science, Mobile/Tablet | 0 comments

BLIPS is a paper-thin microscopy lens for all devices. A “Lab Kit Ultra” package gives you up to four mini-objective lenses on flexible film which cleanly stick on any smartphone or tablet; entrance door to the microscopic world for everyone. So thin that you can keep BLIPS on your phone, even in your pocket, without worrying to lose it. BLIPS lenses work on all models of smartphones and tablets. –

The makers of this awesome lens had a successful Kickstarter campaign a few years ago and now sell their lenses on their website at www.smartmicrooptics.com. What I love most is the small form factor that can transform something most of us already have, a smartphone, into a capable microscope! My 9-year-old loves science and the Lab Kit Ultra would make an awesome addition to his desk at home without compromising desk space a traditional microscope would! For those who want more of the photography aspect of it (macro lenses), and not so much the microscope part, the Lab Kit is also available.
