I remember watching 2000’s Unbreakable for the very first time and was blown away by how epic the characters have become in their own right. You had Bruce Willis’ character who never got sick and had extraordinary strength… then you had Samuel L. Jackson’s character who was born with a rare disease making him super fragile but seemingly very smart. M. Night Shyamalan has always been a personal favorite even though he is endlessly criticized. I have to be honest. I have not seen 2016’s Split, the stand-alone sequel to Unbreakable, which looked good on the trailer but never had gotten around to watching it. Glass solidifies a trilogy and I’m excited to see the Unbreakable characters return to the big screen! I also need to watch Split soon!
